Lexi-Drug Plans
The Lexi-Drug Plans module provides the formulary status of medications, and other plan-specific information, for nearly 5,000 prescription drug plans. This application, accessed through Lexi-Comp® ONLINE™, may be customized to limit the plans searched to only those applicable to a given facility or healthcare system. Lexi-Drug Plans is a valuable resource for verifying patient drug product coverage.
The Lexi-Drug Plans module contains over 4,700 prescription drug plans from across the United States. This database contains formularies from:
- Managed Care Organizations (MCO)
- Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) companies
- Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO)
- Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO)
- Self-Insured Companies
- Other Health Care plans including state Medicaid and Medicare plans
Monographs are very concise and may include the following fields of information:
- Drug Status (Approved, Restricted, Non-Formulary, etc.)
- Notes on Restrictions and Prior Authorization Requirements
- Hyperlinks to Therapeutic Alternatives
- Cost Information
