The following enhancements to The Next Generation of Lexicomp Online provide a new level of direct access to an even greater depth of content, allowing you to make use of more relevant and meaningful information.

Home Screen

• An "Explore by General Category" listing is now available on the home page - Benefit to you: allowing users to browse by content category without searching by a specific search term
• New Drug Approvals and Special Alerts are now displayed on the Home screen - Benefit to you: view the newest medications available and timely safety warnings

Navigation

• All clinical databases are now searchable from the main search box allowing you to search for a drug and receive results for content within Allergy, Pregnancy & Lactation, Patient Education, Toxicology and all other clinical databases - Benefit to you: all content integrated within a single search function providing a more complete and intuitive search engine
• The search box is prominent and accessible at all times throughout the application - Benefit to you: powerful search capabilities provide direct access to all content, eliminating unnecessary navigation steps
• New navigation features are based on familiar web browser functions - Benefit to you: these features include tabbed organization of content, drop-down expandable content lists, "history" function (recent documents), and easy-to-read full page display of search results

Monograph and Modules

• All Clinical Tools are available within the blue tool bar throughout entire application - Benefit to you: integration between the entire suite of Clinical Tools allows seamless access to a comprehensive range of drug and clinical content
• Modules are now optimized for standard internet browsing within the application, no longer requiring a separate window to view results - Benefit to you: eliminating the need to manage multiple content windows
• Within the Patient Education module, all topics can be browsed alphabetically or by body system - Benefit to you: provides additional methods to locate desired leaflets
